WAVE-TV3 meteorologist Kevin Harned was the auctioneer for the event, which raised more than $7,500 for Kosair Charities. The top plate brought in a whopping $510!
90 original plates, painted by area designers, architects, artists and celebrities were up for auction, including plates by Louisville's first lady, Madeline Abramson, former Miss America Heather French Henry, and Patti Cooksey, all-time winningest female jockey.
