Win, Plate or Show 2005
In April 2005, Office Environment Company held its inaugural Win, Plate or Show Gala, a Kentucky Derby-themed live and silent auction evening event, which raised more than $6,000 for the Arts & Crafts/Computer Center at the new Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana headquarters.
In keeping with the theme of the world's most famous thoroughbred horse race, area artists & designers were "called to the plate" in March, and asked to design and paint a ceramic plate depicting a Derby festivity. More than 80 beautiful and unique plates were created and auctioned.
